Client Reviews

The whole process was seamless. No hidden fees, with a fixed price given before engaging them. This gave me a very comforting peace of mind. Whenever I called, Alana was always accommodating, and no query was ever too big or too small. She was always happy to address all my queries and concerns. To be honest, I have dealt with several Lawyers in past years and my impression of Lawyers has not been great. Since working with Alana, my perception has changed. She was a breath of fresh air, and not only that, the various staff members I also encountered were always pleasant, making me feel very comfortable at all times. I have no hesitation in recommending Alana and her team to anyone for the excellent service and honesty.
Alana Shaddick and her team have made the experience of preparing our Will feel like an empowering achievement rather than an onerous necessity. After meeting with her and discussing our family’s situation in depth, we decided to take additional steps which gave us peace of mind regarding most future situations. As previously mentioned, we viewed the idea of preparing a Will as a necessary step to be done out of a sense of responsibility and assurance to both our daughter and each other. It’s the most logical, adult way to future-proof. We now have a much better understanding of the process and trust that anyone else looking at taking this step can gain that extra level of confidence by working with Alana and the BBV team. We would like to add that the firm’s service and friendliness are top notch, and for a happy and easy-going family who do not respond well to stuffy situations, they were simply amazing.
I would highly recommend BBV Legal and the services of Les and Alana. Both are not only incredibly good at what they do but also very patient when translating legal jargon into layman's terms. Alana was the driving force behind a dispute I was faced with and achieved a very positive result for my family. The team at BBV is approachable, patient and highly efficient. I have nothing but praise for their efforts with my case.
David is also highly approachable which is important when dealing with lawyers. There are some lawyers who are so far up themselves that you hesitate to call them, but even though David is a brilliant lawyer, he is also very down to earth.
Les is a wonderful lawyer. He has an amazing grasp of the English language and is always polite and grounding to speak to. With Les there are never problems to which there aren't solutions. And he's always up for the challenge. More than this, and it may seem weird to say this, whenever I meet Les he makes me want to be a good man. He's a real humanitarian and inspires the best in me. For that reason I always look forward to seeing him again.
I can honestly say that in complex commercial litigation matters, David demonstrates an uncanny ability to think clearly, out of the box, and he adopts a pragmatic and very cost-effective approach. This is especially the case in relation to fixed fee pricing.
